Mark currently holds the esteemed RICP® designation.

On the off chance that Mark isn't working, he can be found golfing, gardening, or cooking and traveling with his wife and four children. Mark hopes to one day work with one or more of his children in the financial industry and pass his legacy on to them.

What are the values that drive you?

Client service, transparency, and a tailored approach for every client while maintaining a standard of honesty and dependability are the most important of my values.

What is something potential clients in the investment and protection products industry deal with that you want to fix?

Financial literacy is a huge problem in this country, and at the worst possible time. Increased longevity, combined with low interest rates, and the elimination of the majority of pension plans, could lead to a high percentage of retirees running out of money. A gap needs to be filled here, and that's what we here at Financial Services of Virginia exist to do.

Which accomplishments are you most proud of?

I'd have to say that being honored with the Top Securities Advisor award for the agency in 2019, 2020, and 2021 has been one of my greatest accomplishments.

What is a cause or organization that you care deeply about?

Helping underprivileged kids. Children are our future and I believe the trajectory of a child's life can be changed with even just a little bit of love.
