Wayne LaPlante, AIF®

Colen "Wayne" LaPlante, AIF® is a Financial Advisor and Planner. He consults with clients and prospects on a variety of topics to create financial solutions and help provide assurance. Within the firm he serves as a Partner, working with other advisors and their clients to identify optimal solutions to reach their goals.

Prior to joining FSV, Wayne served as a Senior Director of Wealth Management, working with other advisors and their clients to identify optimal solutions to reach their goals. Before that he was the Senior Director for industry leading asset management companies. In his role, he was responsible for distributing products that included mutual funds, exchanged traded funds, separate accounts, variable annuities, sub-advised portfolios, offshore funds, retirement plans and college savings plans.

Raised in Texas, Wayne received a bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Houston. He has an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designation and holds FINRA Series 7, 63 and 66 Licenses.

Wayne is active in the community and serves on the board of a Creative Learning Center which provides early childhood learning and education for preschool and kindergarten students. He is married to Kathy and they have two grow children, Steven and Emily. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, fishing, traveling, and staying fit.
